About the Climate Justice Project (CJP)
The Climate Justice Project is a five-year research and public engagement alliance led by the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives and UBC. It brings researchers in numerous disciplines from three BC universities together with more than 40 social justice groups, environmental organizations, trade unions, First Nations groups, and other research institutes. The CJP uses BC as a case study to examine the social and economic implications of a serious and sustained effort to reduce GHGs and adapt to climate change, and to articulate policy options that are effective, equitable and that have broad public support.
