DATE: Monday, February 22nd, 2021
Time: 10:00 am – 11:00 am Pacific Time

It is hard to keep up with all the excellent (and free) webinars available right now~but here’s another one of note. The change of leader in the United States will impact how transportation is viewed and funded.

The inauguration of President Joe Biden and the appointment of Pete Buttigieg as USDOT leader creates the potential for a dramatic shift in U.S. transportation policy. We’ve already heard discussions of complete streets, sidewalk construction, increased transit funding and removal of highways that divided Black communities. How big a shift will it be? What is currently in the works?

We’ve put together a group of experts that is engaged in watching, and pushing, the Biden Administration on transportation policy, learn more about them below. Join us for a panel discussion and Q and A to learn their experiential insights.

She was previously at the U.S. Department of Transportation, where she served as the Acting Assistant Secretary for Transportation Policy managing the TIGER Discretionary Grant program, the Secretary’s livability initiative, the development of the Administration’s surface transportation authorization proposal.
