Who lives south of the 49th Parallel? Answer: Victorians do! But that seems unrelated to the red line. That’s a disconnect on between the title of the article and the content – just saying 🙂 Loading... Reply
Toronto is at the same latitude as Monaco; Vancouver only a little further north than Paris. Even Edmonton is to the south of Hamburg and Edinburgh. This is why the metonymy of ‘Canada = the North’ annoys me – it’s entirely U.S.-focused. Loading... Reply
