Canoeing in Kentucky~Truth in Billboards

2019-01-17T13-18-50.5Z-1280x720

In the “you just can’t make this stuff up” department the Mammoth Cave about 90 miles from Louisville Kentucky were looking for a new image to advertise the cave and surrounding attractions.  The found an image off the internet, and since 2016 a six-year-old photo of the Prime Minister of Canada and his wife canoeing with their kids has been advertising Mammoth Caves Kentucky on a massive highway billboard.

The Trudeaus had originally sent out the photo when announcing the birth of their third child. By looking at Google Streetview it has been established that the Trudeau billboard has been advertising the Mammoth Cave attraction for at least four years without detection. Justin Trudeau set the record straight by saying his family was canoeing in the Yukon. And no, he has not been to Mammoth Cave.
