This layout is the best option. Hornby is one way street heading north and this layout prevents cars from crossing paths and hence is safer for sidewalk pedestrians.
Yep – same for the entrance to the massive Gastown parkade at Cordova & Cambie (Opposite Woodwards).
In Toronto, the whole underground bus terminal at Lawrence TTC station drives on the left, I believe so that passengers can board from centre platforms rather than having to cross the underground ‘street’.
