At Dunsmuir and Richards early (for me) Monday morning, watching the people go by in droves on their way somewhere — probably to work. All a part of Bike to Work Week in Vancouver.
I was pleased and surprised by the number of people using a Mobi for their travels.
As usual, click any photo to enter a slideshow of them all.
Can we have a “Transit Pedestrian” week to celebrate thre vast majority of non-drivers who are not regular cyclists?
That’s a great idea. You should talk to your friendly neighbourhood transit and pedestrian advocacy groups and get this going.
Give out snacks and hot drinks at transit stations and busy walking routes, have prizes each day… this would be excellent.
In Calgary we have the Commuter Challenge; maybe you can do something like that.
