Imagine a bus that has two conflict points with traffic instead of one. Twice the problems or 4X? (PS. Photoshop or real, this is not full scale. Look at the height above the cars).
Broadway transit needs more capacity. More buses will not work. We need a high capacity transit. Currently bus stops can not handle more buses because the next bus has to wait for bus in front to leave.
Agreed. Like the old metaphor of adding another notch to your belt in order to ‘lose weight’. It pushes a lot of people’s geek buttons, though. Building an addition to your house is always more fun than just reducing the amount of crap you already have, I suppose.
It really strikes me that there’s some kind of cronyism going on here – money being funneled to the backers of this project for reasons other than good sense.
I kinda think it’s an alternative to a Broadway Line!
The passengers will exit onto platforms with a grand view into my doctor’s office examination rooms, eyeball to …. oh never mind.

Maybe they don’t drive those insane big trucks like we have downtown – mostly empty.
