    The US is burning ?

    Yes, their presidential candidates are all weak.

    Yes, their education system favors the wealthy 20% and is sub-par for the other 80%.

    Yes, their legal system is rigged towards the wealthy and the prosecuting state attorney.

    Yes, they have too large a population, especially male blacks, in prison.

    Yes, their gun legislation is rooted in 17th century self-defense thinking.

    Yes, they spend too much on the military.

    Canada is following the wrong European path of excessive debt, too much spending, too many regulations and too cushy a social hammock. That is why the UK wants to leave the EU.

    1. To be fair, the house itself is not burning – just the car in front of the house. The process is messy, violent, and surreal, and still this is clearly not the whole story. From this side of the border, I can’t argue with this depiction of how the election process looks like.

    1. Well our premier in BC and our PM aren’t exactly the smartest bulbs, either … merely good looking and stead-fast on their (often wrong) opinions ! A radio host and a drama teacher .. managing a $40B and $250B budget, respectively .. math .. deficits .. debt .. who cares. Mere puppets often of a massive bureaucracy behind the scences …
